- You can stop this examination at any time.
- The sooner you have an examination, the more evidence you will have preserved.
- You can get a forensic examination WITHOUT reporting to the police.

If you are not sure whether or not you are going to report to the police, you can have a forensic examination carried out at a Sexual Assault Referral Centre.
- They can store any evidence for you until you make your decision.
